About the opportunity 

C&K Upper Kedron Childcare Centre is nestled within the natural bush of Upper Kedron, within the master planned community of Ellendale, this new early learning centre has been designed in collaboration with educators and architects, to create inviting spaces for children to explore, discover, learn and play.

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Educator to join their team. As an experienced and qualified Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing a quality care and education program in co-operation with the group leader. This position will require you to work 38 hours per week on a rotating roster between the hours of 6:30 am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

About you 

An experienced early childhood Educator, you will be energetic, fun, passionate and committed to supporting and guiding children’s learning and development. You will have the following: 

• Certificate lll qualification in early childhood (qualification must be recognised by ACECQA); or enrolled and actively working towards
• Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
• Hold or willing to obtain a paid Blue Card
• Previous experience working with children
• Passion for creating and delivering a simulating learning environment
• An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment
• Skilled with documenting observations of children's behaviour and development, in the form of learning stories
• An ability to implement a planned program, in collaboration with the Room Leader ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met
