Centre Director - C&K Mount Gravatt West Community Childcare Centre
About the role:
C&K Mt Gravatt West Community Child Care Centre is now looking for an experienced Centre Director. C&K Mt Gravatt West Community Child Care Centre is a 58 place Centre that caters for 0-5 age groups across four learning spaces. You will benefit from working with a dedicated team of up to 15 employees who will assist you with the day-to-day running of the Centre. Further, you will have access to a large team of support, which includes an Early Childhood Pedagogy Advisor and Early Childhood Education Manager, along with a Central Office team based in Brisbane.
This position will suit an Early Childhood professional who is a leader, who has drive, and is committed to exceeding the standards of Early Education and Care within the Community. You will be an independent leader with the ability to gain respect and trust from a team and promote a positive working culture.
You will maintain a strong reputation across the community, be community minded, and excel and deliver within your Centre. As a person in day-to-day charge of the Centre, you will be an independent and critical thinker, with outstanding communication skills and problem-solving abilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of the Centre and requires quick thinking, accurate decision-making and respectful leadership.
About you :
You must be approachable with leadership qualities and an ability to connect within the community, families, children and employees; with a hands-on approach in managing the service operationally. For this position, we are looking for someone who is a self-starter, who has previous experience as a Centre Director and shares C&K’s values of Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, Courage and Safety.
Your experience, skills and knowledge will include:
You will be given training and support to C&K’s new revised curriculum “Listening & Learning Together” as well as our Birth to Three approach. C&K offers an online learning education hub and has a dedicated Learning and Development department which provides our employees access to online training and courses.
