At C&K QUT Kelvin Grove Community Childcare Centre, a position has become available for a motivated and passionate Centre Director to help drive the team and the service to success.
No two days are the same at C&K QUT Kelvin Grove. Our teaching team tailor each day’s learning taking into account the interests of the children in the group. The spacious environment at our kindy is thoughtfully planned and well resourced. There is a focus on music, drama, literature and visual arts and time spent discovering the natural environment outdoors.
A C&K Long Day Care service offers industry leading quality education and care for children from six weeks of age to five years, for up to 12 hours per day. C&K services are where children and families can develop a sense of belonging within the immediate environment and the wider community. We provide high quality educational experiences through the implementation of the 'Listening and Learning Together' curriculum approach and encouraging children to express their own ideas through play to develop friendships, explore, solve problems, help others, imagine, create and extend on their interests.
You will maintain a strong reputation across the community, be community minded, and excel and deliver within your Centre. As a person in day-to-day charge of the Centre, you will be an independent and critical thinker, with outstanding communication skills and problem-solving abilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of the Centre and requires quick thinking, accurate decision-making and respectful leadership.
