Clerical Assistant– C&K Blackwater Community Childcare Centre
About the role:
C&K Blackwater Community Childcare Centre has a position for an experienced Clerical/Administration Assistant to join the Childcare Centre on a Part time basis. Within this role we are also looking for someone with an interest in either starting or continuing their career in Early Childhood Education and Care as an Educator.
If you are interested in gaining further experience working with children, being part of a collaborative team within the local community and have a background with administration, this could be the role for you.
This is a varied role with 2 days clerical/administration to support the centre and Director, and extra hours and days available to work as a casual relief Educator at the Centre if you desire. Be a part of a team and build your experience in Early Childhood.
You will learn and be supported in your new role, with experienced educators, dedicated long term Director, and be a face of the centre to support families and children in your community.
This position:
The Administration Clerical Assistant is responsible for assisting the Childcare with matters of an administrative and financial nature such as creating and maintaining child enrolment records and waitlist information, collecting data for QLD Kindergarten Funding Scheme (QKFS) validation and application of Health Care Card subsidies, retaining accurate attendance records for children and generate child data reports, file maintenance and archiving as well as other administrative duties as needed.
Ideally you will be flexible and have great organizational and time management skills, flexible and willing to support the Centre with open day events, community events and other administrative duties for the educators and service when required.
The Clerical position will be Permanent part time, working 12 hours each week, 6 hours each Wednesday and Friday.

As an administration clerical at the centre, you will be given training and support to assist you with your onboarding.
