Welcome to the Blackbutt Centre!

The town is named after Eucalyptus pilularis commonly know as Blackbutt native to this part of the regional area. Blackbutt is a rural town of about 900 people abundant wildlife, popular with bushwalkers, campers, cafes, local pub, post office, visitors centre and an award-winning pie shop. Home to the famous Brisbane Valley railway line now converted into a walking rail trail.

Join our family

In this role you will be welcoming visitors to the centre, providing administrative support to the Manager and other staff while undertaking other general administration duties including but not limited to:

• Data Entry: Assist with the collection, consolidation and entry of children, centre or family information.
• Customer Service: Welcome guests and families at the door or over the phone and supporting them with any needs.
• Enrolment: Supporting families in enrolling their children with all required paperwork.
• Documentation: Maintain our filing and archiving systems and ensure our information is effectively organised.

You will be a highly valued part of the team and crucial in ensuring our centre can operate smoothly and continue providing great outcomes to the children in our care.

How you can Empower our People

You will be a skilled administrator with an empathetic approach to effective communication. You will also need:

• A Current Drivers Licence
• A Current Paid Blue Card (or willing to obtain one)
• A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
