At C&K Queens Beach Community Kindy no two days are the same. Our child led learning approach means we tailor activities to the interests of the children on the day. We are very proud of our beautiful large outdoor play space boasting both vegie and fairy gardens and our huge sand pit is very popular with the children.

Our Kindy is now looking for a Director Teacher who is passionate about working alongside children in their early years and will contribute to a team that values open communication and sees children as competent and capable learners.

You will be working on a permanent full time basis for immediate start, working 8am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

Joining our Family

You will be a self-starter, love your community and possess a creative vision. Must be committed to continuous improvement, through a collaborative approach with colleagues, community, families, and children. Previous Director Teacher experience is desirable but not essential. An approachable leader amongst your community of families, children, and employees; with a hands-on approach in managing the service operationally.

You will need to hold:

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification).
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
• Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card 
• A Police Check current within 3 months or willingness to obtain one

C&K will cover the initial and renewal costs of a Blue Card and Police Check for all permanent and fixed term contract employees prior to the commencement of their duties.
