About the role:

C&K Pittsworth is currently looking for an experienced Teacher/Director to join their team on a part-time basis

As the Director/Teacher for the service, you will be responsible for managing the operation of a branch Kindergarten service in accordance with C&K standards and policies.

The service is looking for someone who is a self-starter, armed with a creative vision to help the service blossom. An approachable leader amongst the community for families, children and employees; and a successful educator who has a hands-on approach in teaching as well as capable of managing the service operationally.

Ideal applicants will have:

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification).
• Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers prior to appointment.  This registration must be renewed annually.
• Prior teaching and directing experience in an early childhood setting essential
• Demonstrated leadership ability including staff performance appraisal and management
• Ability to plan and implement a quality, educational and child centered program
• Capability of meeting the needs of individual children and the group using the Building Waterfalls guidelines
