About the opportunity 
In the C&K Children’s Services team, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Early Childhood Pedagogy Advisor to join the South Coast and West team by supporting our Kindergarten Centres.
As an Early Childhood Pedagogy Advisor with C&K, you will be supporting our C&K Kindergartens centres within the South Coast and West Region.

• Full–Time contract until 30 December 2022, with a potential to extend

For the successful Advisor, you will manage and apply effective communication and leadership strategies to engage staff and work collaboratively to support and inspire a shared sense of purpose. You will have extensive knowledge and experience in areas including education, child health, wellbeing and inclusion; and business management. You will have strong professional expertise and courage in decision making and exceptional contemporary knowledge of best practices in early childhood education, and a practical understanding of early childhood curricula and development frameworks.
Role responsibilities
• Provide expertise and strategies, mentoring and advice consistently across the region to implement wellbeing and inclusion strategies, policies and procedures relating to early years’ practice.
• Providing evidence-based expert advice and assistance in curriculum, education and early childhood practice to support services/programs to deliver excellence in early years’ education.
• Managing, supporting and monitoring the implementation of C&K’s early childhood curriculum framework (Listening & Learning Together) to ensure it is delivered with integrity in regional services/programs.
• Nurturing professional networks and relevant professional associations to maintain expert knowledge of current trends, research and evidence-based approaches in early childhood practice, for the purpose of growing professional knowledge and practice across the region.
• Embedding reconciliation in curriculum, education and early childhood practice.
• Support, and collaborate on the implementation of strategies to enhance inclusion, regardless of the child and family circumstances.
• Supporting and growing relationships across the region to assist services to support quality education and care programs, and improved outcomes for children.
• Provide management and support to ensure C&K's child wellbeing and inclusion approaches, strategies and programs are delivered with integrity in regional services and programs.
• Manage and work collaboratively to develop, implement and review high-quality, regional professional development strategies regarding wellbeing, inclusion and behaviour guidance. 
• Manage and support regional implementation of C&K's wellbeing and inclusion programs, to enable the delivery of high-quality early childhood services and programs in line with C&K's vision, values and strategic priorities.
• Support and coordinate early years' wellbeing and inclusion research projects, in line with C&K's Research and Evaluation Strategy, at the regional level.
• Assist with effective integration of functions and strategies with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality early childhood education services and programs.
• Managing and monitoring regional strategies and approaches, in collaboration with Central and regional management teams, to drive service improvement relating to curriculum, education and teaching practice.
• Supporting and guiding educators, to achieve improved educational outcomes at a service level.
About you
• Hold an ACECQA approved Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Flexibility, as this role will require regular travel with the region
• Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring and supporting early childhood education and care services/programs to achieve high-quality outcomes regarding wellbeing, inclusion and early childhood practice.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing efficient and effective strategies that improve outcomes for children and improve the quality of programs and services provided.
• Skills, capability and experience in planning, supporting and delivering strategies that support improved service outcomes in child wellbeing and inclusion and early childhood practice, including analysing trends and data; developing and maintaining effective relationships/partnerships; and engaging with research and best practice.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate cross-team collaboration to achieve best practice outcomes.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and self-development.
• Sound practical understanding of the National Quality Framework, legislative and regulatory requirements and associated compliance matters.
