About the role:
C&K Kelso is a community based, not-for-profit Kindergarten, located in Townsville. Our kindergarten is proud of their large, natural outdoor spaces for children and educators to learn and explore together. The Centre aims to provide a safe, friendly, respectful, caring environment that caters for the needs, interests and uniqueness of children, family, staff and the wider community.
C&K will now be delivering the Great Start to Kindergarten Program across selected kindergartens in QLD.
Through this innovative program, children will play and learn in a kindergarten environment specifically for three-year-olds, led by a qualified kindergarten teacher. Through indoor and outdoor play spaces, teachers will engage children with opportunities to explore, experiment, develop friendships, and express their creativity, while nurturing a lifelong love of learning! Your role will see you supporting the team at C&K Kelso Community Kindergarten in delivering this brand-new program to children in the pre-kindy age group.
As the Kindergarten Teacher you will be working part time, 5 days a fortnight, 7.5 hours a day every Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesdays. This position commences on 11th July 2022.
You will have the opportunity to learn and grow through C&K, to bring new skills and ideas to challenge your knowledge and deliver excellence in early education and care. The successful educator will pride themselves on their passion and dedication for early education within the learning environment. We are looking for someone with exceptional skills to build relationships with families and children and who is dedicated to furthering their own learning as an early childhood professional.
