Our Kindy

C&K Port Douglas is a community based not-for-profit Kindy with Extended Hours where no two days are the same! Our curriculum is child led and we encourage engagement with our spectacular local environments. We are especially proud of our large natural outdoor spaces, including a mud kitchen, flowing creek bed with two small waterfalls, veggie patch, fishpond and a wooden fort, where you might be a friendly ogre one day and a medieval knight the next!

Our Kindy is now looking for an Educator who is passionate about working alongside children in their early years and will contribute to a team that values open communication and sees children as competent and capable learners.

You will be working on a permanent part time basis working Tuesday to Thursday, 4.42 hours per day. However, we would love for you to have flexibility to work shifts between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

You will need to hold, or be willing to enrol in and work towards

• Educators: Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
• Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card 

If you are studying or hold a Bachelors in Education you will also be eligible for our Educator roles.
