Help shape the future of children in our care

C&K Carindale Community Kindergarten are currently looking for an Educator who is passionate about working alongside children in their early years in our Extended Kindergarten Program. 

As a successful candidate, your role will be to support the delivery of the extended kindergarten program to children aged 3-5 years at C&K Carindale Community Kindergarten. C&K Carindale has a supportive teaching team, a purposefully designed outdoor environment and is well resourced.

Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.

As a home away from home, our environment provides a safe, secure, supported space for your child.  Our dedicated, professional, long term and qualified educators nurture play-based learning. Our environment encourages children to follow their interests, choose between indoor and outdoor play and be encouraged, challenged and supported in their learning.  

What you’ll bring

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

• A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
