As our highly valued Teacher Director with our C&K Corbett Street team, you’ll nurture an inclusive, collaborative and supportive team culture where everyone can belong, grow and thrive.

C&K Corbett Street Community Kindergarten has been operating in the heart of West End for over 100 years. Established in 1913 and operating from our current nature – inspired building since 1922, our long-held reputation for providing quality early childhood education in the local community. 

Our open plan indoor environment celebrates the Kindy’s history through the thoughtful arrangement of beautiful, nature inspired, quality learning resources which the children use in a variety of experiences for creative arts, dramatic play, music, project work and quiet learning and reflection.

With energy, creativity and care, you’ll take a hands-on approach to teaching where you will lead a team of passionate people to deliver a quality educational program for children in our play-based learning environment. And as an approachable leader for families, children and your team, you’ll play an integral role in the overall operations and management of the centre to encourage and nurture children’s learning and development while building great relationships with our families and the wider community.  

 What you’ll bring

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or a Bachelor of Primary Teaching with an approved diploma-level qualification.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (within three months or willing to obtain these).
