The Childcare and Kindergarten Association Limited (C&K) is a not-for-profit early childhood provider with nearly 350 early childhood education and care services located across Queensland. This centre will specialise in nature pedagogy and will have bright and natural spaces which include modern and natural outdoor play spaces featuring mud play, sand pits, a dry creek with pumping water and a nature reserve for the children to explore.
About the role:
C&K Strathpine South Childcare Centre is a 5-room service offering Early Childhood Education for children from 6 weeks through to 5 years. It is one of C&K’s bigger centres (licensed up to 125 children per day) it can be described as fast paced yet a fun and supportive environment where we encourage and strongly promote personal and professional development and innovative thinking.
At C&K Strathpine South, we are currently seeking a qualified Group Leader to work across all ages in our centre. The successful educator will pride themselves on their mentoring ability and have a passion for working closely with educators within the learning environment. We are looking for someone with exceptional relationships with families and children, and who is dedicated to furthering their own learning as an early childhood professional.
This is a permanent full time position, 38 hours per week on a rotating roster between the hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
An experienced early childhood Educator, you will be energetic, fun, passionate and committed to supporting and guiding children’s learning and development. You will have the following:
