Since 1907, the organisation has grown and developed its social purpose agenda and now educates children in 360 centres which is comprised of both Childcare Centres and Kindergartens.

C&K Strathpine South Childcare Centre is a 5-room service offering Early Childhood Education for children from 6 weeks through to 5 years. It is one of C&K's bigger centres (licensed up to 125 children per day) it can be described as fast paced yet a fun and supportive environment where we encourage and strongly promote personal and professional development and innovative thinking. We offer a holistic approach to high quality education centred not just on learning but also on building meaningful relationships to ensure children feel safe, secure and supported.

About the role

C&K Strathpine Childcare Centre is currently looking for a full time Group Leader to join their team on. As an experienced and qualified Group Leader, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a quality, educational and child centered program, meeting the needs of individual children and the group using the C&K 'Listening and Learning Together' curriculum approach.

  • Rotating shifts between the hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm

Ideal applicants will have: 

  • Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood (qualification must be recognised by ACECQA).
  • Prior experience working in the early childhood profession. We are looking for Lead Educator to work across all age groups in the service.
  • Awareness of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG)
  • Prior experience developing and maintaining open and collaborative relationships with families and the community
  • Effective team player who models professional and ethical behavior
