The opportunity

This newly created position exists for an experienced Project Administrator. We are looking for someone that has experience in providing support in a successful implementation of a new HR/Payroll system. You will be confident in your ability to provide assistance to the Project Team during the full project life cycle and support our organisation in training, change and communications. This role will require you to be hands on and have an outstanding ability to be organised, thorough, and approachable, with a high level of drive to support in the successful delivery of the systems project.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day support for project roll out and implementation activities
  • Supporting transition of existing C&K centres to the new system.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support in completion of the project activities
  • Assisting with training activity for the project
  • Supporting the project team with communications activity for the project
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, training and provide administrative support as needed
  • Providing day-to-day project support through managing registers and reporting to deliver business needs
  • Monitoring and managing the project mailbox and assist with enquires
  • Support the Project Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Assist with data entry and basic system configuration
  • Providing operational support and guidance to system users
  • Generating reports and providing basic data analysis
  • Assisting with creating training materials such as manuals, quick reference guides and FAQ’s
  • Providing on-site and remote support and training to staff during the implementation of the new system.
  • Organising training sessions with various stakeholders across the business.
  • Maintaining a training register to track training activities.
  • Support the delivery of Change and Communication activities and plan such as project newsletters, update emails and posters.

Your new role as Project Administrator with C&K, you will be on a fixed-term contract until the 30 June 2022. Working fulltime, 38 hours a week, in our C&K Central Head Office located at Kedron, North Brisbane. Commencing in your new role in January 2022.

Ideal applicants will have:  

  • Experience working in a project administration role
  • Prior experience implementing HR/Payroll systems desirable
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Knowledge and experience of Chris21, iChris, SharePoint and Time and Attendance systems preferred
  • Experience in preparation of quality written material including project documentation and reports
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • An understanding of the Childcare sector is desirable
  • Ability to understand different stakeholder perspectives and views and to build productive working relationships
  • Strong organisational skills with a high degree of drive, outcome orientated and ability to deal with multiple conflicting tasks
  • Paid blue card (or willing to obtain one)
