As our highly valued Director Teacher with C&K Ascot Community Kindergarten, you’ll nurture an inclusive, collaborative and supportive team culture where everyone can belong, grow and thrive. This is a unique opportunity to hone your leadership skills with a wonderful team in a fixed term 12-month contract commencing on 16th January 2025.

Based in Brisbane’s northern suburbs and close to public transport, C&K Ascot is a warm and inclusive environment that acknowledges parents and guardians as an integral part of our community and who are always welcome to contribute to the educational program. You will thrive in this collaborative environment and take a hands-on approach to teaching where you will lead a team of passionate people to deliver a quality educational program for children in our play-based learning environment. And as an approachable leader for families, children and your team, you’ll play an integral role in the overall operations and management of the centre to encourage and nurture children’s learning and development while building great relationships with our families and the wider community. 

 What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will either have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or a Bachelor of Primary Teaching with an approved diploma-level qualification.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (issued within the last three months) or willing to obtain these.
