A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Early Childhood professional to join our community kindergarten. The Director/Teacher position is a permanent part-time, 42 hours per fortnight.

Babinda Community Kindergarten values an inclusive environment, natural play spaces and recognises the need for sustainable practices to help children develop an awareness of their community responsibility. We connect children and families with each other and value the many different cultures that comprise our community. Babinda Community Kindergarten provides high quality educational experiences by encouraging children to express their ideas through play to develop friendships, explore, solve problems, help others, imagine, create and extend on their interests.

You will be an approachable and compassionate leader with an ability to connect with our local community, kindergarten families, children and employees; as well as a quality educator who has a hands-on approach in teaching and is capable of managing the service operationally.
