Assistant Educator Traineeship - C&K Emerald South Community Childcare

 

  • Obtain your Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education through C&K
  • Traineeship Commencing on 10 January 2022
  • 12-month Fixed term contract; with a possibility of extension
  • Working Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week with a rostered day off

About the Role:

C&K Emerald South Community Childcare is now looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Assistant to join the Centre. This Traineeship will see you commencing on a 12-month fixed term contract, with a possibility of extension, working 40 hours per week, with a monthly rostered day off.

Your responsibilities:

  • Share all duties involved in the care and education of the children with other educators
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and training opportunities
  • Prepare materials and activities as required
  • Contribute to, and actively assist in the delivery of the program planned
  • Build meaningful relationships and interactions with children
  • Contribute to each child’s C&K learning portfolio
  • Must be willing to complete studies towards your qualification to successfully complete within the timeframe

Ideal Candidates:

  •  C&K is committed to an inclusive workforce and strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
  • Prior experience within early childhood education would be an advantage
  • Ability to commit to and complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and care through the C&K College
  • Ability to work as an effective team member
  • Applicants who already hold an Early Childhood Qualification will not be able to be considered for a traineeship
