Help shape the future of children in our care

As our valued Clerical Assistant at the C&K Hughenden Centre, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the centre runs smoothly, supporting children on their journey to becoming confident, lifelong learners. Currently operating as an affiliate, C&K Hughenden will transition to a C&K branch starting Term 1 in 2025.

In this role, working 6 hours per week, you’ll be the welcoming first point of contact for visitors to our centre. You’ll handle various administrative and financial tasks, such as managing enrolment records, and contribute to a warm, inclusive, and collaborative team culture where everyone can feel a sense of belonging, grow, and thrive.

What you’ll bring

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will be a great communicator with the ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.

You will also hold:

• A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• A current drivers licence.
• Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (within three months or willing to obtain these – C&K will cover the cost).

We would also love you to have experience in a similar administration role. Any experience in the early childhood sector or a qualification in business administration would be great, but not essential.
