Frequently Asked Questions

It takes 12 months to complete a Traineeship. Upon successful completion of the Traineeship, you will be awarded with a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

You do not require prior experience or minimum qualifications to enrol into a Traineeship however you will be required to be at least 18 years of age to work at a C&K centre and commit to completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

An Apprenticeship will take 24 months to complete and upon successful completion you will be awarded a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. 

To commence an Apprenticeship it is a pre-requisite to hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and be at least 18 years of age.

A Traineeship involves studying towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care over 12 months and allows you to work as an Educator or Inclusion Support Assistant. 

An Apprenticeship involves studying towards a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care over 24 months and allows you to work as a Lead Educator.
