Some C&K kindergartens provide an extended kindergarten program to provide extra flexibility for our families and community. The program commences from the end of the kindergarten program at 2pm and continues the children's learning into the afternoon until 6pm or later.
The extended hours program is led by a diploma qualified (Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care) Extended Kindergarten Coordinator and supported by a Certificate III qualified (Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care) Extended Kindergarten Educator.
Our Extended Kindergarten teams work on a permanent part time basis. If you are looking for opportunities to increase your working hours, we can consider your application for both casual and other part time roles.
Yes, our Extended Kindergarten program operates over the school holidays, which is a key aspect of providing consistent care and maintaining the quality of our programs that children and families has come to enjoy. We encourage our team members to work during this period to ensure that the children continue to receive the same high standard of care and education throughout the year.
