As our highly valued Teacher Director with our C&K Crestmead Community Kindergarten team, you’ll nurture an inclusive, collaborative and supportive team culture where everyone can belong, grow and thrive.

At C&K Crestmead Community Kindergarten, your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. We have an open natural learning environment where the children explore, investigate, and extend their learning. Our experienced and passionate educators foster close relationships with families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. They focus on nurturing your child's curiosity, building their resilience and developing their confidence - all through the joy of learning through play.

With energy, creativity and care, you’ll take a hands-on approach to teaching where you will lead a team of passionate people to deliver a quality educational program for children in our play-based learning environment. And as an approachable leader for families, children and your team, you’ll play an integral role in the overall operations and management of the centre to encourage and nurture children’s learning and development while building great relationships with our families and the wider community. What you’ll bring

As a Director Teacher, you’ll take on a dynamic, part-time role on a fixed-term basis for the next 12 months, ending on December 12, 2025. Your schedule will cover every Thursday, Friday, and alternate Wednesday, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

This structure offers a unique opportunity to balance dedicated leadership time with hands-on teaching, shaping the educational experience in a consistent yet flexible way.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or a Bachelor of Primary Teaching with an approved diploma-level qualification.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (issued within the last three months) or willing to obtain these.
