As our highly valued Teacher/Director with our C&K Mossman team, you’ll nurture an inclusive, collaborative and supportive team culture where everyone can belong, grow and thrive.

C&K Mossman has supported the local community, building a love of learning with generations of families as well as embracing our new families of all heritages. Our Kindy values our natural environments and large outdoor play spaces. During our nature walks and exploration of our bush space children engineer tepees, create using natural objects, mark make using sticks, learn about nature and spot a range of wildlife and neighbouring animals including kangaroos, cockatoos, pelicans, bearded dragons, tawny frog mouth and even horses. 

With energy, creativity and care, you’ll take a hands-on approach to teaching where you will lead a team of passionate people to deliver a quality educational program for children in our play-based learning environment. And as an approachable leader for families, children and your team, you’ll play an integral role in the overall operations and management of the centre to encourage and nurture children’s learning and development while building great relationships with our families and the wider community.

What you’ll bring

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have: 

• An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent  
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate 
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. 
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card. 
• Current Police Check 
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
