Help Shape Futures at C&K Springfield Central Community Kindergarten  

As Director/Teacher at C&K Springfield Central, you’ll guide a passionate team of educators known for building genuine relationships with families, supporting each child’s confidence and curiosity, and creating a strong sense of community where everyone feels welcome. You will work closely with your team and the support of an experienced Area Manager and Pedagogy Advisor to inspire young minds while delivering C&K’s play-based Kindergarten program.

• Permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week)
• 7.5 hours Monday to Friday
• $47.64-$65.17 per hour + Directors allowances + superannuation

C&K Springfield Central is located opposite Springfield Central State School. The service operates one unit (two 5-day fortnight groups) with places for up to 24 children. The service also operates Extended Hours (until 6:15pm) and Holiday Programs supported by additional Educators. The Extended Hours Program commences from the end of the Kindergarten Program and continues the children’s learning into the afternoon.

What you’ll bring 

If you’re committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, in an organisation that strongly upholds child safety policies and procedures, we’ll set you up for success!  To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have: 

• An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent  
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate 
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. 
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card. 
• Current Police Check 
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
