Help shape the future of children in our care

As one of our highly valued Early Childhood Teachers with our C&K Hughenden team, you’ll support and guide children’s learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.

C&K Hughenden has been operating in the community as an affiliate and is transitioning to becoming a C&K Branch Centre from term 1 in 2025. Join our lovely team as we start this new journey together. 

With energy, creativity and a passion for education, you’ll take a hands-on approach to teaching children 6 weeks to 5 years in a play-based learning environment. And as an approachable leader for families, children and your team, you’ll nurture a culture where everyone can belong, grow and thrive.

What you’ll bring

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional or newly graduated, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!  

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA)
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (issued within the last three months) or willing to obtain these.
