As our highly valued Early Childhood Teacher at C&K Stretton Community Kindergarten , you’ll lead a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. C&K Stretton has beautiful, large landscaped gardens providing an open natural learning environment where the children explore, investigate, and extend their learning. Our indoor space fosters child-led experiences and provides many different and inspiring opportunities to play and learn.

Our experienced and passionate educators foster close relationships with families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. They focus on nurturing your child's curiosity, building their resilience and developing their confidence - all through the joy of learning through play.

Stretton Community Kindergarten is seeking an experienced ECT on a fixed term part time basis From 14/07/2025 to 11/12/2015 (Terms 3 and 4) to take ownership of our 1B - Ngurun class.

You will be supported by an Assistant and an Inclusion Support Assistant working a 5-day fortnight 7:30am-3pm every Thursday, Friday alternate Wednesdays. Children attend 8:00am-2:08pm each day. You will have Non-Contact Time to support you to maintain StoryPark documentation, Teaching and Learning Journals, Transition to School Statements and Behavioural and Inclusion Plans.  

It would be an additional benefit if you have current Child Protection Training as well as knowledge and skills in Trauma Informed Practice. 

Wonderful opportunity to have your skills and knowledge acknowledged for possible ongoing permanent roles at our highly sought after 4 class Kindergarten. 

We offer an extended Hours Program to our children from 2:08pm - 6:00pm and work closely with the Extended Hours team to provide consistency across the day.

• An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.

• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
