Help Shape Futures at C&K Durack Community Kindergarten

As one of our highly valued Educators at C&K Durack Community Kindergarten, you’ll work alongside your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. Our experienced and passionate educators foster close relationships with families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. They focus on nurturing your child's curiosity, building their resilience and developing their confidence - all through the joy of learning through play.

Our award-winning Kindy draws families from culturally diverse backgrounds, and we have multiple home languages at our Kindy. We are keen to recruit educators who share the same backgrounds as our families, in particular Somali educators.

• C&K Durack is located on Inala Avenue, Durack, on the grounds of Durack State School.
• Fixed-term Part-time Position
• 2 Days in a Week, Thursday and Friday, from 7.45 am to 3.15 pm
• Fixed term until 12th December 2025, with the possibility of extension

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

• Hold, or a willingness to commence studying, a certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
