Help shape futures at C&K Gumdale Community Kindergarten

The Extended Hours Program commences from the end of the kindergarten program and continues the children’s learning into the afternoon. As one of our highly valued Educators at C&K Gumdale in the extended kindergarten program, you’ll work alongside the Extended Kindergarten Coordinator to provide support and guide children’s learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.

• 5-day fortnight: every Thursday, Friday and alternating Wednesdays
• Shifts: 1.50pm-6.15pm + additional hours during the school holidays
• Fixed term Contract from now until 2nd October 2026

C&K Gumdale is located off Tilley Road in Gumdale, right next to Gumdale State School. The service holds an NQS of 'exceeding' and operates two units with places for up to 44 children.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

• A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards this qualification.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (we will fund this).
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
