C&K QUT Kelvin Grove is a vibrant, community-focused early childhood centre located within the heart of the QUT Kelvin Grove campus.

Our centre is home to 66 curious and capable children across five engaging learning spaces, each designed to spark imagination, creativity, and discovery. Every day is filled with meaningful interactions, hands-on learning, and opportunities for children to build confidence and a strong sense of belonging.

Our passionate team of Educators, led by Haylea, works collaboratively to create a warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children, families, and the wider community. We value relationships at the core of everything we do and take pride in supporting each other to grow professionally while making a real difference in children’s lives.

What’s on offer

• $28.84 – $36.78 per hour + superannuation
• 32.5 hours per week, 5 days per week (6.5-hour shifts)
• Rotating fortnightly roster:
  • Week 1: 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Week 2: 10:30am – 5:30pm

What you’ll bring

If you’re committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

• Hold, or a willingness to commence studying, a certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
