C&K Mount Gravatt East Community Kindergarten is a unique centre that caters for up to 24 children. At C&K Mount Gravatt East Community Kindergarten community spirit is important to us. We foster strong ties to the local community by encouraging parent involvement in the daily operations of the kindergarten. We often hold and partake in community events and love connecting with local businesses and groups around us and taking the children on excursions out into the local community.

No two days are the same at C&K Mount Gravatt East. Our teaching team tailors each day’s learning, taking into account the interests of the children in the group. The spacious and natural environment at our kindy is thoughtfully planned and well resourced. There is a focus on music, drama, literature and visual arts and we allocate plenty of time for outdoor play and discovery.

What you’ll bring

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

• A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards this qualification.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
