We are seeking a customer-focused and highly organised Family Engagement Specialist to join our Childcare team. As the first point of contact for families, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children, families and centres throughout the enrolment journey, from initial enquiry through to a child's first day of attendance.

This role combines customer service, administration and enrolment management expertise to deliver an outstanding family experience while supporting service utilisation targets across our childcare network. You'll work closely with centre teams, families and key stakeholders to ensure enrolment processes are seamless, compliant and family-centred.

You'll help us shape the future of children in our care by:

  • Responding to enrolment enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Supporting families through the enrolment process from enquiry to commencement
  • Support centres with transition planning
  • Prepare new year roles to support workforce planning
  • Conducting audits of enrolled family files and master rolls
  • Monitoring and managing waitlists to maximise occupancy and utilisation outcomes
  • Following up new enquiry leads within required timeframes and nurturing prospective families throughout their enrolment journey
  • Providing utilisation and enrolment reporting to support business performance
  • Working closely with Nominated Supervisors to coordinate transitions and new enrolments
  • Supporting enrolment promotion activities and community engagement events
  • Ensuring compliance with immunisation requirements, court orders and relevant funding updates

What you'll bring

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a fast-paced administration, customer service or sales environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for helping families
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge of Kidsoft, Storypark and Child Care Now
  • Experience or training in administration or sales (highly regarded)
  • Knowledge of the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, including Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and related funding schemes (highly regarded)
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card, or the ability to obtain one
