Help shape the future of children in our care

As a Kindy Uplift Advisor, you’ll support kindergarten services to plan, implement and evaluate Queensland Government kindergarten funding to strengthen educator capability, cultural responsiveness and program quality across key priority areas.

  • Townsville based position with occasional travel, including overnight travel required
  • Fixed term Part Time contract until December 2026

What you’ll do

  • Guide and mentor services to develop and implement high‑quality Kindy Uplift Plans.
  • Analyse data, identify goals and support services to engage providers.
  • Approve plans and expenditure (C&K Branch) and advise Affiliate Committees.
  • Facilitate connections between services to maximise funding impact.
  • Lead professional learning communities, workshops and reflective practice.
  • Collaborate with C&K, Lady Gowrie, Department of Education and other advisors.
  • Support continuous quality improvement and evaluation of program outcomes.
  • Promote culturally safe, inclusive programs, with priority on embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.

What you’ll bring 

  • Hold an ACECQA approved Bachelor in Education (Early Childhood) or similar qualification.
  • Strong capability‑building and mentoring skills with educators and leaders.
  • Experience leading collaborative, co‑designed projects.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep understanding of the NQF, EYLF, QKLG and evidence‑informed practice.
  • Project management and data analysis capability.
