Help Shape Futures at C&K Mackay Family and Children Centre

In this role you will be leading a proud team that develops, implements, and evaluates a range of culturally sensitive, child-centred, early childhood programs and services across our local community. Each day at the MCFC could see you:

• Lead, facilitate and support positive integration of services between the hub, childcare service, and the community.
• Oversee the delivery of programs and support services that promote positive and dynamic approaches to family support, early childhood education and care and child/family wellbeing.
• Support and develop a high performing team that works collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in their community to identify strengths, mitigate risk factors, increase capacity for resilience and promote positive family relationships.
• Provide one-on-one interventions to families including community and home visiting, counselling, practical support and undertake group work with our other MCFC employees and community agency employees

What You’ll Bring

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

• A Degree qualification (or higher) in Social/Behavioural Sciences or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading a multidisciplinary family support team.
• A current Open Driver Licence.
• A current Paid Blue Card (or the willingness to obtain one).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or the willingness to obtain them).
• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or demonstrate cultural competence and the ability to effectively engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities
