Help shape the future of children in our care 

As the Learning and Development Manager you will be integral to informing C&K’s learning and development strategy. Ensuring our programs support a capable and responsive workforce, you will have oversight of the policy, strategy, and initiatives that underpins the learning and development of our people. 

 As a driver of continuous improvement, you will lead the design, development and implementation of adult learning (andragogy) and organisational capability frameworks that are designed using data, insights and research to support C&K’s people and strategic goals. 

You’ll help us shape the future of children in our care by: 

  • Developing and leading the implementation of an evidence-informed learning and development strategy for C&K’s people that fosters a culture of professional learning for all employees. 
  • Work in partnership with C&K Senior Leadership Team to determine learning needs, trends and issues for the organisation and implement targeted capability solutions. 
  • Manage and support the operational use of Learning Management System and content development for a range or organisational needs.  
  • Collaborate with teams to develop systems for reporting and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, educational frameworks and C&K policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain key government and non-government stakeholders to increase C&K’s profile and influence policy and strategy to build future sustainability. 

What you’ll bring 

You will exemplify personal drive and integrity, taking ownership of achieving objectives and maximizing the delivery of high-quality outcomes. With extensive experience in the design and delivery of high quality adult learning programs, you will collaborate across the organisation to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. 

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have: 

  • Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (within three months or willing to obtain these - we will cover the cost of both). 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Education, Adult Learning/Training or Organisational Development. 
  • Kirkpatrick certificate highly desirable. 
  • Understanding of the early childhood education and care context and its frameworks.
