The Paralegal position at C&K will provide essential support to the internal Legal, Risk and Governance Team (LRG) and the broader business. This role will handle a variety of tasks that are critical to the smooth functioning of the LRG team as well as contributing to the overall vision and values of C&K.

You’ll help us shape the future of children in our care by:

• Assisting the LRG team with responding to Kindergarten and Childcare related matters as they arise
• Supporting the LRG team in managing C&K’s contract management and contract review tasks, including lease reviews
• Drafting correspondence to internal and external parties and researching various legal issues
• Researching local and state laws and summarise information to support the legal team in providing accurate and timely advice.
• Assisting with the administration and maintenance of the LRG Systems

What you’ll bring

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Legal Paralegal, preferably in a private law firm or similar legal environment
• Familiarity with legal terminology and procedural requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail

• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current Police Check
