Join us as our new Project Manager to lead positive technology-enabled change.
A six-month fixed term opportunity exists to join our Business Excellence team as a Project Manager to lead the rollout of a safety management system across our Central office and network of early childhood education services. Working with a positive and committed team from across various business functions, this position will be responsible for orchestrating efforts across the design, build, test and implementation of the new platform which will deliver efficiencies and process improvements across our network.
- Develop and maintain project artefacts including the project plan, schedule, risk register and budget.
- Lead and motivate a cross-functional project team, coordinating activities to ensure deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines.
- Act as the primary liaison between the project sponsor, project team and external vendor.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops and governance discussions as required.
- Oversee the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, ensuring effective use cases are developed and rigorous testing is undertaken.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and transparent project reports for a variety of stakeholders.
Key selection criteria
- Demonstrated experience in project managing the delivery of commercial off the shelf (COTS) technology platforms across geographically dispersed organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in leading or coordinating User Acceptance Testing for a system implementation.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes.
- Exposure to change management methodologies and practices (desirable).
- Certification in a recognised project management methodology (e.g. PMBOK, Prince2) (desirable).
