Our Centre now has an opportunity for a Trainee Educator to join the team at our Mackay Children and Family centre, and start their career in Early Childhood.
The C&K Mackay Children and Family Centre is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service which provides access to integrated early childhood education and care, parenting and family support and child maternal health services. The centre incorporates a Long Day Care Centre and a Hub, that is designed to work together as an integrated unit. Our vision is to be a trusted children and family centre that empowers all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to grow, learn and build on strengths with connection to land, sea and cultures.
Your dedicated trainer will work hard to set you up for success by collaborating with your colleagues to creative a nurturing environment while supporting you in developing meaningful relationships with the children and their families and walk out of your first year qualified and ready to continue your journey in Early Childhood.

Applicants who already hold an Early Childhood Qualification will not be able to be eligible for a traineeship.
About C&K College
C&K College of Early Childhood is a Nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering training to early childhood educators and carers since 1998. Via this traineeship pathway, our aim is to deliver quality education and training by providing work-based mentoring, tailor-made tutorial sessions delivered by experienced trainers and assessors and access to development resources and C&K policies and procedures.
