Help Shape Futures at C&K Ascot Community Kindergarten

As a Director/Teacher at C&K Ascot, you’ll guide a passionate team of educators known for building genuine relationships with families, supporting each child’s confidence and curiosity, and creating a strong sense of community where everyone feels welcome. During this 6-month fixed-term position you will have the support of an experienced Early Childhood Education Manager and Pedagogy Advisor to inspire young minds while delivering C&K’s play-based Kindergarten program.

• Permanent full-time, 7.5 hours Monday to Friday (during school term)
• Fixed-term contract: 14 September 2026 to 19 March 2027
• $47.64-$65.17 per hour + Directors allowances + superannuation

C&K Ascot is located in inner-north Brisbane, under a 5-minute walk from Ascot Train Station. The service holds an Exceeding NQS rating, operating one unit with places for up to 25 children. C&K Ascot also operates an Extended Hours Program which commences from the end of the Kindergarten Program with additional educators to continue the children's learning into the afternoon.

What you’ll bring 

If you’re committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, in an organisation that strongly upholds child safety policies and procedures, we’ll set you up for success!  To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have: 

• An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent  
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate 
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. 
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card. 
• Current Police Check 
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
