Are you ready to make a difference that lasts a lifetime?

At C&K, our purpose is to make a positive impact on children’s lives. It’s what we’ve been doing for more than 115 years. Through evidence-based thinking, hard work and true compassion, we’ve built a trusted reputation as Queensland’s leading provider of early childhood education.

But times are changing, and so are we. And although we’re passionate believers that children come first, we know our people must come first, too.

Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always.

Find your Better Way

Every C&K career helps children belong and grow. We want the same for you and joining C&K means impacting a child’s life journey for the time they spend with us and long after they leave.  But, so much of what we do depends on you.

We’ll set you up for success with a range of benefits, programs and opportunities to help you earn, be well and grow.

  • Be rewarded for your commitment with a wage rate of $25.31 - $33.67 per hour plus salary sacrificing options.
  • Part time - 7.5 hours every Thursday and Friday
  • Live, work and be well with our Employee Assistance Program for you and your family.
  • Find a healthy work-life balance with parental leave, return-to-work support, and family-friendly priority access to C&K childcare centres.
  • Save money with childcare discounts up to 75% for eligible employees with children enrolled at a C&K Branch Centre.
  • Fully funded Blue Card, Police Check, First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Our Referral program also awards you with $1000 for referring a successful candidate so you can be rewarded for supporting your team’s growth.
  • Take advantage of the C&K College to further develop your skills and qualifications.
  • Scholarships of up to $3000 for eligible Educators who are working towards their Certificate III qualification under the Qualifications Pathways Program (QPP).

Help shape the future of children in our care

At C&K Corbett Street Kindergarten, every day is an exciting adventure filled with laughter, learning, and discovery! Since opening in 1913 and settling into our current home in 1922, we’ve been a cornerstone of the community, inspiring generations of little learners to explore, grow, and thrive.

Rebecca and her passionate team create a warm, playful, and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported to become curious, capable, and confident lifelong learners.

As one of our cherished Educators, you’ll be part of a close-knit group that thrives on creativity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence in early education. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping young minds, using your skills and passion to create engaging, play-based learning experiences that spark imagination and foster development.

What you’ll bring

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards this qualification.
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).

You will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families and the community alongside a team-player mindset - when you join C&K, you join a village of good-hearted, talented people, so you can lean on them as they lean on you.

Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always.

C&K is a child-safe organisation and all C&K employees are required to undergo a police check and not be a ‘Restricted Person’ or Suspended Educator under the QLD Blue Card System.
